AutorI did a double take on that as well. I think what she meant was it would not be genetically identical, unlike a cutting which is essentially a clone of the mother plant. I love to grow from seeds & you may just get something BETTER than before. I would never discourage someone from trying to grow from seed. What she should have said (to be PC) was "I do not prefer to grow from seed because....therefor I like to take cuttings instead because...

Autorit is also called hormone powder, it comes in a small bottle. They can be bought at a nursery. I bought mine at a supermarket, it was with all the fertiliser and plant things

Autorif one species of plant gets pollinated by another species of plant, you will never know what the out come is. Just like your parents giving birth to you, you are never exactly similar to you parents. but if you clone, then you're guaranteed to have the same exact thing
